Hey everyone! For those who don’t know me, I run the YouTube channel Vade:
And I’m looking for an artist willing to help me with a new project I’m designing.
THE GIST:
I am currently working on a script that I will be paying one artist to produce into an Undertale comic that, once completed, I would dub.
I am currently working with a commission budget of £1,000 ($1250) to see the project through. Additionally, the artist would be receiving a state of the art XP-PEN monitor tablet to work on the comic with.
If you are interested, please email me at vadelith@gmail.com with examples of your art as well as any examples of creative projects like this one that you’ve worked on and any lessons you learned or experience you gained from them.
I’m looking for talented people who are willing to work hard on something we can both be excited about. I can’t wait to see your work and to find the lucky artist to helm this project. See you soon!
Hello peeps of the Animation Community! It is officially the new year, which means we’ve got a whole new batch of promising television animation to look forward to in 2019 including
The Owl House created by Dana Terrace coming to Disney Channel
Villainous created by Alan Ituriel coming to Cartoon Network
Hazbin Hotel created by Vivienne Medrano coming to YouTube
Infinity Train created by Owen Dennis coming to Cartoon Network
And Amphibia created by Matt Braly coming to Disney Channel!
And in addition to these new series, we also have new seasons of old favorites such as Steven Universe and Star vs. the Forces of Evil coming this new year! So I believe it is safe to say this is looking to be a fantastic year for animation!
Make them sit in their rooms in silent and do their homework alone
Side with the teacher and not get your child’s side of the story
Tell them that their grades are the most important thing they should worry about
INSTEAD:
Ask if they’re having trouble with other students or teachers
Sit down with them and help them with what they don’t understand
Speak calmly instead of yelling
Don’t invade their privacy by looking through their devices
Don’t take away their hobbies as punishment
Never make them feel unsafe or unable to trust you
This has been a message from a struggling high school junior that wishes their own parents actually did this stuff.
Bonus: Don’t look through their freaking backpacks. Chances are they know damn well they have loads of unfinished papers and the stress of knowing is so overwhelming they don’t even wanna look at it.
